After much consideration and heavy heartedness, a few tears, some lingering man-hugs and one or two moob brushes, we have decided to put the show on extended hiatus for the foreseeable future.
As you know, FFundercats has always been a boot-strapped organisation. Pressures with work, dedication required for our families and as a commitment to you, we have decided to take a long break. At this moment we can’t dedicate the time required to do the show, and FriendFeed, true justice.
Will we be back? More than likely. But we won’t be back until we can give it a red hot poke. If we are going to waste your time, we would like to put some effort into it.
When Facebook bought FriendFeed, we made a promise to go down with the ship and we will honour that promise. Josh just needs to draw a picture of Kate Winslet’s boobies and Johnny needs to have steamy hot sex with Leonardo DiCaprio in a ye olde car.
Mark may or may not still be on the bow of ship, singing adult-contemporary ballads… well… he is Canadian and his heart goes on… and on… and on.
We have been spoiled with the amazing support you have given us, and we are very grateful for it. Many of you have been there for us since Episode 1, which truly testifies to your threshold for pain.
We’ll still be around, doing this and that. Just that it will be at times other than 8pm Central/11am-the-next-day in Brisbane.
